Spot on for Fall

IMG_1963.jpg

I have a good feeling that spots and dots are going to be a fun print to wear this fall! The real feel here in Virginia is still 100 degrees but I’m still allowed to day dream about my fall wardrobe right? But how selfish would it be if I didn’t share with you all some of the items currently on my “To Buy for Fall” list?!? VERY! Yesterday I wore the super cute jumpsuit pictured above (similar here) and I was so inspired by it’s polka dot pattern that today I want to share with you all my favorite polka dot printed clothing items for fall!

1. UO Tie-Front Ruffle Sara Skirt

I love this skirt from Urban Outfitters. On a chilly night out I would pair this darling skirt with sheer black tights, black booties, and a white sweater. You could even style it with a red sweater for a pop of color! I think that would be so fun and also give your look a Parisian vibe.

2. Polka Dot Dress

I LOOOVVVEEEE this dress from Zara ❤ . I feel like this is the perfect dress to dress down with some white sneakers and a leather jacket, or dress up with black heels and a black coat. I love the business chic vibe it gives off with the white collar and white cuffs.

3. Wrap-Front Blouse

This wrap top from Abercrombie is not only the perfect fall color but also the perfect piece to have in your fall wardrobe! Why? Because there are SO many ways to style it. For a casual outfit you could pair this top with your favorite pair of jeans and sneakers. If you are a girl boss and you want to wear this top for a presentation, you can style it with black skinny dress pants and a pair of black heels. I could go on and on with other ways to style this top but I will let you all have some creativity with it on your own 😉

4. 9′ High Rise Toothpick Jean in Indigo Polka Dot

Want to rock the dots this fall in a more simple way? Try these adorable J. Crew jeans! The polka dots aren’t in your face but you are still sporting them in a super fashionable way. I love the way the model styled the jeans, I personally would swap out the beret for a top knot and the big earrings for some simple hoops. With the upcoming chilly fall weather you could also pair any solid color sweater with these jeans to stay warm.

5. Total Betty Silky Dot Bandana

Two fall trends in one product! Polka dots and it’s a scarf. These adorable hair scarves are super trendy right now. You guys already know I have a massive collection of bandanas from Madewell but I haven’t gotten my hands on a silk one yet. I really like this one from Free People because they mixed various polka dot patterns together. That way every time you wear the scarf it will look a little different depending on how you fold and wrap it.

6. Polka Dot Crop Top

The last item I am going to share with you guys today is this super affordable crop top from Forever 21. The detailing on this top is what really caught my eye after scrolling through many pages of polka dot clothing items. I love the tie back detail and also the 3/4 length balloon sleeves. I would pair this top with high waisted black jeans or I would style it under a pair of black overalls.

I hope you guys aren’t sick of seeing polka dots 🙂 To be honest my eyes do hurt from staring at polka dot patterns for the past hour but I love sharing my favorite trends and clothing pieces with you all! Who’s excited to rock the polka dots this fall? I know I am!

Remember to always love who you are ❤

xoxo, marta bean.
